Works brilliantly on our smooth bathroom tiles and rock solid on the glass screen. Just make sure the surface is properly smooth and non-porous — it won't lock on a textured tile. Read that bit and you'll be fine.

The bar itself is great for the money. Took me a couple of goes to find the smoothest spot on the tile so it locked fully green. Once it's placed properly, it's rock solid.

I'm no lightweight and it doesn't shift on me. Gives a proper, confident grip when I lean on it to get up off the shower seat. Feels reassuringly solid.
